Episode #1-What It Took To Follow Her Dreams

Jen Sagiao Pic

Aloha, In this first episode of the Fashionable
Finance Podcast, I talked with Jen about her
journey from being a Principal at a private school
then moving to California from Hawaii to follow
her dream.

This is some of the important points that she made:

  • You have to find what works for you and you also have to know what your
    own energy output is.
  • She found what works for her by doing something called her ‘cave time’
and works 10 to 12 hours a day, that’s her rhythm; taking chunks of time
and gets into the work, then comes up for air.  She then spends some time
recovering and knows that it doesn’t work for everybody.
  • Build into your schedule days off.
  • Our dreams are worth it, the road there is just as important as the destination.
