Aloha, in this episode of the Fashionable
Finance Podcast, I interview Erin Smith who is
the Owner and Founder of The Starters Club.
After starting and selling several businesses,
she heard time and time again from others how
they wanted to start a business.
Their reason for not starting was always they
didn’t know where to begin. The Starters Club
mission is to layout the business fundamentals for anyone who needs them
in beginning their online journey through courses. You can also be inspired
and learn business tips on her podcast The Starters Club.
These are some of the neat things that she talked about:
- Got her first paying job at the age of 5 because she was bored.
- Wants to give her kids opportunities and not just by them toys.
- Feel much more at ease then she ever dreamed she would after
starting her own business. - Having her own work schedule is so freeing by being her own
boss and knows that she’s going to be OK. - When she’s feeling down she talks to someone or interviews
someone and feels like a person is always put in your life at
exactly the moment you need them.
Encourages any entrepreneur to have a group of entrepreneurs
that you’re friends with to help each other.
A quote that she loves: Your children will grow to be who you are, so be
who you want them to be.
